Principal Archaeologist Andy Young has gained wide ranging experience of the archaeology across the north of Scotland and Highland region during his four years as Senior Archaeologist and RPH at Highland Archaeology Services and has now returned to independent practice. During his time at HAS Andy has developed excellent relationships with the Council Archaeologists at the Highland Council, Comhairle nan Eilean Siar and Moray Council. Local authority and government clients further afield have included Bristol City Council, South Gloucestershire Council, North Somerset Council, Bath and North East Somerset Council, Wiltshire Council, Somerset County Council and Historic England – in addition, planning related projects have been completed successfully for clients in Oxfordshire, Worcestershire, Gwent and Devon.
